What will you be doing?

Your role will be to assist the Programme Manager, using their well-developed time management capability, financial reporting and budgeting experience, organisational skills, communication abilities, pro-activity, multitasking, and familiarity with project management applications to ensure a programme meets its objectives. In this role you need to make sure that the programme runs smoothly by tracking programme progress and communicating its status to stakeholders, all in a timely manner.

As a Programme coordinator you will work well under pressure and are comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments., it’s a priority you need to support change. You will be a key point of contact on a large, complex and high profile Programme of work.

You will be responsible for compiling programme status reports, overseeing meetings, and creating project schedules. Also draft key project documents, manage the requirements for the project and set anticipated completion dates for project deadlines, and deliverables.

Key responsibilities/experience for this role

  • Previous experience working in a large scale project or programme environment, or Programme Management Office.
  • Experience in administration and/or coordination.
  • Previous experience using MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint and other MS office tools.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of Sentient or similar project management systems
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with project team members.
  • Great relationship Management and team work
  • Team work is essential and being able to communicate effectively
  • PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is essential
