Rnadstad Technologies are currently recruiting for this unique and exciting role within a large Government agency in Wellington.

This is an interesting and varied role that would likely suit a technical candidate from an Infrastructure background looking to move into the projects space.

The primary responsibilities in this role are to lead the provision of ICT requirements to Chancery projects and ensure the successful delivery of the Ministry's technology systems and infrastructure. You will act as the liaison between project Managers and all the technical teams involved in a Chancery project and will be responsible for providing expert level active and co-ordination from initiation to delivery.

More specific responsibilities will include;

  • Maintain best practice knowledge and apply industry standards regarding technical input into projects
  • Ensure physical ICT infrastructure is designed and installed in accordance to PSR and NZISM
  • Manage the flow of technical information between internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide continuous expert level technical input across of stages of project

The ideal candidate for this role will have;

  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure technologies including design
  • Excellent documentation and report writing skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of secure communications and technical security practices
