Global Leaders Chubb Fire and Security Australia have recently secured one of Australia’s largest Security projects situated in the ACT. This is a highly complex and confidential project requiring high calibre strategic leaders from within the Electronic Security industry, who will relish the opportunity to work on multiple projects with the mandate “to improve operational performance, customer retention and drive projects towards greater overall profitability.”

Specifically we are interested in discussing this opportunity with Electronic Security Project Managers and Electronic Security Project Engineers.

Your ability to develop and nurture exceptional professional relationships is key to ensuring we exceed client expectations by delivering projects on schedule and within the agreed budget. Additionally taking full responsibility for all planning and day to day performance deliverables within the working sector, installing Integrated Security Systems.

Those in application must offer comprehensive Security Project experience and be widely reputed and dedicated to deliver best practice in the industry.

Project Manager key responsibilities include:

  • Project Management, Manages the strategic aspects of large projects, working closely with the project team to mitigate any risk.
  • Contract Management skills with strong analysis and negotiation skills
  • Project Accounting, Take full P&L responsibility managing budgeted costs and maximizing profit and revenue expectations.
  • Consolidates and analyzes all related financials across the project to ensure that all business KPI’s are met or exceeded.
  • Provide detailed pipeline forecasts
  • Report accurate project information with particular focus on variations
  • Ensures Company policies are followed and quality assurance reviews/procedures take place for all projects.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and support to direct reports.
  • Review, recommend and drive operational and commercial excellence
  • Provide innovative thinking and direction with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide detailed communication serving as a key participant in team and client meetings with the ability to problem solve and provide solutions often under pressure.
  • Manage material requirements and review resource requirements to ensure project needs are met.
  • Provide monthly / ad hoc reports.
  • Risk mitigation
  • Technical aptitude with working knowledge of associated industries and technologies.
  • Wide understanding of security, access control and CCTV principles.
  • Working knowledge of fibre based communications.

Be assured this is a high value project with the potential for expansion across multiple states. Those with a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Project Management, with Current Security and Defence Licences and Passes and an in depth knowledge of Defence and Government industry processes and procedures will be highly regarded.
