You will be working in a team within a major division of this government department. In this role, you will be responsible for collating and recording information, communicating with key points of contact and you will be striving to work collaboratively with your team, other divisions and external customers. This role will require you to provide strategic advice and direction while leading a team over a period of change. The successful candidate will have great relationship management experience, be a proven trusted advisor and have excellent organisational skills. Key Responsibilities: Engage in the preparation and distribution of financial advice, acting as a trusted advisor to DCE level and relevant leadership teams.Support financial and operational decision making and management through the provision of timely and accurate information and business support. What will you be doing?You will take active responsibility for commercial, contractual and relationship management of suppliers and commercial partner contracts and relationships, including negotiation and resolution of non-standard/standard commitments. You will manage and maintain the lifecycle of supplier partnerships and contracts and be a key person in ensuring strong deliverable commercial relationships. What am I looking for in you?A natural commercial acumen that allows you to both manage complex situations but also quickly identify opportunities. A drive for excellence in delivery across both internal and external partnerships. At least 3-5 years of demonstrated experience working across vendor & supplier relationships.
