      We have a great opportunity to work with a large public sector organisation as a Principal Advisor, Commercial, on an important work programme, providing long term strategic advice through improving commercial outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to use your accounting or finance background to support changement management processes and projects through the provision of expert commercial advice with regards to the financial components of development projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead, coordinate and provide long term strategic financial advice with regards to development projects and processes.Provide expert advice to key internal stakeholders in order to improve commercial outcomes through enhancing revenue opportunities and offsetting cost pressures. Lead relevant change management processes and projects with regards to development, from a finance perspective. Provide expert advice on identifying growth projects and allocating costs. Lead agreement negotiations and provide advice on requests and opportunities, taking into consideration growth plans, funding principles and relevant fiscal impacts. Work with Business Unit Management and Procurement to progress cost saving opportunities and improve value for money outcomes. Provide commercial expertise and advice to enable fit for purpose commercial arrangements and contractions, aligning with key strategic outcomes. Key Requirements: Relevant tertiary degree with 5+ years experience within finance, accounting, economics or procurement. Previous experience with asset planning, growth planning or financial planning and strategy.
