Do you enjoy being the face of an organisation and pride yourself on your exceptional customer service skills and ability to build rapport? We are recruiting for a receptionist/administrator to be the frontline ambassador for a well known Tier 2 Construction Company in Auckland. This company works on projects that range from government projects through to retail and residential and has a presence in 3 key locations throughout New Zealand.

Working in a small office you will be the first point of contact for all telephone enquiries from clients and colleagues. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the office, from assisting estimators with tenders, to managing the vehicle fleet.

We are looking for a vibrant individual with a warm and friendly personality who has a can-do attitude. You will be responsible for the following;

  • Greet clients upon arrival and on the telephone in a professional and warm manner
  • Scheduling meetings and maintaining room bookings
  • Processing mail
  • Being able to communicate effectively and provide quick solutions through problem solving
  • Varied administration tasks from office manager and accounts team

The ideal candidate must be:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Well-organized, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines with great follow up skills
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Pro-active
  • Presentable and approachable

The salary for this role will be based on the experience level of the candidate.
