We are currently working with Volpara Health Technologies exclusively to hire a Release Engineer to join a highly collaborative product development team.

Volpara Health Technologies (ASX:VHT) is an award winning industry leader in Digital Health Products with the goal of reducing the cost and increasing the quality and efficiencies of breast cancer screening internationally.

With many global customers including a strong presence in the United States they are in an excellent position to continue to grow their core research, development and ICT capabilities within in New Zealand.

The Team

Join a highly collaborative and Agile team who are growing quickly. They work to evolve the innovative Digital Health products that they deliver to a global market place. They leverage the power and flexibility of Microsoft’s Azure PaaS and IoT Edge technologies, including machine learning.

The team are passionate about what they do and collaborative effectively with the wider business including a robust data science team, marketing and sales professionals globally and of course global customers as well.

The Position

As an experienced Release Engineer with a strong focus on .Net and Azure products:

  • Maintaining, and streamlining automated build and release pipelines from code compilation, automated testing, to deploying releases to multiple environments.
  • Maintaining source control branches and performing integrations with merge conflicts.
  • Facilitating and championing the quick resolution of problems found during the daily build and deployment efforts.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation of the build/release process.
  • Investigating and developing tools and processes and integrating them so that they can improve the reliability, stability and efficiency with which we release our services.
  • Working closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet our feature requirements.
  • Support development teams in developing automated tests.

The Person

Ideally you will have:

  • experience with C# and .NET in a professional environment.
  • Experience of using package management systems such as Nuget
  • Good understanding of security concepts, especially PKI
  • Experience of developing and debugging SQL
  • Strong knowledge of VSTS, Azure and Octopus Deploy
  • Experience of working in an Agile workflow
  • Strong programming skills. You’re expected to be able to read and understand code as well as develop necessary tools.
  • Strong knowledge of source control management and tools.
  • Knowledge of continuous build, release and deployment systems.
