About the role:As a Laundry Driver working on Saturday and Sundays and you would be responsible for; The Operations and Maintenance of Van:Safe loading and unloading of the laundry van following health and safety and infection control guidelines. Maintain van in a clean and tidy condition. Operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times and in a manner that complies with all traffic laws. Adhere to all policies and processes. Lock van and return van keys immediately after use. Ensure log book is completed after every use of van. Ensure that vehicle is compliant with LTSA requirements – WOF, Registration and (for diesel powered vehicles) Road User Tax. Report any accident / incident immediately. Identify and report immediately any maintenance faults. Health & Safety:Observe all company Health & Safety policies. Report any incidents/accidents immediately. Participate actively in hazard identification and report any unsafe conditions immediately. Key Competencies:Have a caring and considerate natureHave the ability to work well in a team and individuallyHave the ability to work efficiently under pressureHave the ability to use equipment to load the van in a safe and efficient wayBe able yo drive a van and back a trailer You must hold a NZ Full Drivers License that is CURRENT, CLEAN and Free of Endorsements. It is essential that you hold a current First Aid Certificate. Manual Handling is required in the performance of duties so you must be physically fit.
