Outstanding opportunity for a Branch Manager to join Chubb Fire and Security, Global leaders in Detection, Surveillance, Access Control and Integrated Systems and Solutions. Chubb provides these solutions for many of Australia's most secure facilities, none more than that of our ACT branch located in Fyshwick.

As the Branch Manager ACT reporting directly to our Security GM, you will share your Security sector expertise coupled with your composed and considered leadership style. Offering clear direction and positive motivation to our team, your influence will promote growth and development of both the business and our people.


Responsibilities involve leading the business agenda and operation of the Electronics ACT business,
driving financial performance, sales conversion and people management ensuring that profitability, revenue and business growth levels are achieved.

Key functions involved but not limited to the following:

  • In-depth knowledge of the financial and operational drivers and control processes of a business.
  • Full P&L management, project management and forecasting to provide an accurate projection of future business performance.
  • Visitation of Key Accounts at regular intervals, building strong lasting client relationships. Nurturing strong relationships with identified stakeholders both new and current to further increase opportunities.
  • Motivation of staff and maintenance of team building concepts. Maintain an environment within your team which values everyone’s input and gains commitment from all stakeholders to achieve.
  • 100% Compliance with contractual obligations. Drive service field standards through audit feedback and through positive reinforcement. Ensuring EHS compliance is in line with company policies
  • Defining Workforce planning principles to maximise field performance
  • Drive strategies for growth
  • Delivery of company standards in relation to presentation, productivity and profitability.
  • Effective implementation of strategic requirements as determined by Chubb management.
  • Manage regions Service Plan in sync with National Plan however state Based requirements must be reflected.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering or business or a related discipline
  • Industry experience especially with operational and people management
  • Project management certification/experience desirable
  • P&L experience, also Forecasting and budgeting.
  • Sound computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Highly analytical and able to bridge workforce plan and service delivery regardless of conflicting priorities.
  • Strong Leadership and people management experience
