We are currently working with a well recognised complex Public Sector Organisation, as they look to recruit a Senior Analyst on a permanent basis in order to support the Ministry’s outcomes, appropriations and performance reporting measures as part of their Planning & Performance team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced CA professional with a Management Accounting or Finance Analyst background, to drive insightful financial management performance and forecasting analysis, whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with a range of stakeholders across the business.

Key Duties:

• Provide analysis and insights for relevant Business Groups in order to improve performance reporting measures.
• Develop planning and reporting products, tools and processes.
• Work closely with Principal Analysts & Finance Business Partners in order to develop and update business group budgets and forecasts.
• Undertake financial analysis on current and future year revenue and expenditure trends.
• Analyse non-financial information comparatives between divisions and regions.
• Provide analysis and financial modelling in order to inform key decision making, acting as a trusted adviser and expert within your field.
• Maintain, develop and build effective working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders, effectively conveying financial management policies and processes that impact them and require attention.

Key Requirements:

• CA Qualification or equivalent
• 5+ years proven Finance experience, ideally with Finance Analyst/Management Accounting experience within a large/complex organisation.
• Proven financial analysis, planning and performance reporting skills.
