job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Customer Service/Account Manager to join this high performing team; who is energetic, engaging, positive, assertive, calm and able to work in a high volume environment.

As a leading New Zealand manufacturer of quality plastic pipe and fittings; this iconic company has been a trusted household brand in the New Zealand market place for over 50 years and is part of a worldwide group of companies. Their extensive product range spans plumbing, civil, building, electrical, rural, and irrigation markets. A well respected company, they pride themselves on delivering the best service to their customers internally and externally and has a supportive team culture where people and customers come first.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Responding to client / customer queries
  • Processing customer orders and completing customer requests
  • Processing billing information
  • Customer resolution
  • Data entry
  • Relationship building
  • Advising clients of product changes /updates
  • Working within a high pressure environment

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:

  • Minimum 12 month’s customer service/ administration and/or account management experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Be a strong team player
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Excellent grammar and spelling
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively and efficiently
  • High level of initiative and enthusiasm
  • Be able to build rapport with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside of the square
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Knowledge of Microsoft CRM would be an advantage

The hours of work are Monday to Friday and shifts are either 8am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5pm (you must be flexible to work either of these). Parking is provided.
