The Company

This important Government organisation is vital to the safety of New Zealand and New Zealanders as a whole and focuses on providing an essential service on an on going basis. They have been growing exponentially over the last 12 months and are looking to achieve a level of maturity that is highly reliable and trustworthy.

The Team

The Data Insights and Reporting team are responsible for giving operational and ad hoc reporting to the organisation that allows them to manage their services effectively and has quality outputs and solutions that they will be looking to continuously improve moving forward.

The Role

As part of their growth their is a requirement for a Data Analyst to help build and improve the capability of reporting and the quality of insights that can be provided to the organisation in order to make better decisions as to how to evolve moving forward.

If successful you would be using your expertise to mentor others and also take a Senior's approach to delivery. Work with a talented and passionate team to share knowledge and deliver on mutual outcomes

This is a hands on role and will require resilience as the organisation is evolving and changing to meet the demands of New Zealand.

The Person

A strong communicator with a keen focus on outcomes and the ability to think of better ways of working. Solid experience with Advanced Excel and a good understanding of reporting technologies, this is due to the evolving nature of the organisations maturity which will include a rollout of new tools and technologies within the Data Analytics and Reporting space
