Here at Randstad, we are currently recruiting for Senior Programme Coordinators, on contract in Wellington.

This programme of work is incredibly interesting and has direct impact on the community as well as significant organisational impact.

As an experienced Programme Coordinator, you will be well versed in all of the following responsibilities:

  • Programme reporting through to Tier 1 and 2 levels.
  • Secretariat at Governance meetings for 8 Project Managers.
  • Arranging meeting packs, writing minutes, recording and following up on agreed actions.
  • Management of Sentient including risks, issues, documents, timesheets while increasing compliance levels within and being available to assist with any questions regarding the use of this project management tool.
  • Develop and maintenance of project schedules using MS Project.
  • Other general Coordination activities as required and working with project leads, project managers and the programme manager.

What you should know:

  • The subject matter is varied and as such no 2 days will ever be the same.
  • The requirement for programme Coordinator is URGENT, though the organisation is happy to wait a couple of weeks during a resignation period and would be open to part time hours during this time if this was an option for the successful candidate.
  • The Programme team has a very low turn over of staff and most of the turn over is when a staff member is promoted within the Programme / organisation.
  • The core group of 10 are a good group of people who are focused on delivery, excellence and are enabled to achieve this.
  • Expectations will be clear from the get go however they operate in a relaxed working style while keeping a great reputation within the organisation.
  • The organisation and especially the Programme team treat each other as family, they all care about one another, they have good banter and a good culture.
  • People who do well in this organisation are resilient, add value and can hit the ground running fast.
  • There is the potential that this contract could be extended past 30/06/2019 until a permanent is on board however there is the opportunity to become the permanent Programme Coordinator across this Programme of work, this would offer a good annual salary.
