As the Senior Purchasing and Payments Officer you will be expected to provide support to the Purchasing and Accounts Payable team as well as the Team Leader. You will be process driven and able to implement process improvements where needed. About the role:
- Prepare purchase orders and payments
- Payment approvals
- Supporting the Accounts Payable and Purchasing Officers in their role
- Training and developing new and existing team members
- Managing the team in the absence of the team leader
- Update manuals and processes as needed
- 12 months fixed term contract
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience with accounts payable and purchase orders
- Strong communication and rapport building skills
- Tech Savvy with strong excel skills
- Previous experience working with high volume invoices
