This rapidly expanding global tech company is looking for a number of Test Engineers to join their agile team building a NEW Cloud product involving microsystems. The Role: Working as part of a well organised, highly agile Integration/Microservices team, you will work with four other testers who are passionate about their job and work hard collectively to get projects across the line. A strong testing mindset and continuous learning culture, you will be a part of a small, high performing team who are driven and passionate about their job. Some duties / responsibilities are listed below;

  • Testing of Hardware/Firmware developed for automation before deployment to wider teams
  • Development of REST API’s and testing protocols
  • Involved in the standardisation of documents, systems and procedures
  • Testing of hardware/firmware/middleware/cloud technologies
  • Identify and propose recommendations for process improvement
  • Define test plans confirming scope coverage and approach to testing
  • Deliver status reports on progression, highlighting any deviation from earlier plans
  • System Integration testing for end to end deliveries

Skills / experience you need:

  • Strong manual (and some automation) testing / QA experience
  • Experience in testing within an Electronics, hardware/firmware environment (highly desirable)
  • Posses a good understanding in testing embedded software
  • An understanding of the payment industry preferred
  • Strong API and Integration testing experience
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
  • Strong team focus and ability to work effective on your own
  • Polished communication, networking and interpersonal skills
