Are you passionate about technology and your service delivery? Are you looking to grow your technical support experience within a customer centric environment?

  • Temporary 3 month contract with potential to extend or permenant opportunities.
  • Immediate Start Date
  • Within a Central Government Ministry.
  • $25 per hour + 8% holiday pay
  • Central Wellington Location - onsite and work from home

About The Organisation

This internal service desk team are part of a key Government Ministry that have been at the forefront of the Governments covid response. As the first point of contact, this team support their colleagues across the country, whether onsite or working from home, with any technical issue they mave have.

This team are diverse and extremely customer centric. Servicing the wider organisation, you are part of not only your immediate team but a face of the IT team across the entire business.

About The Roles

Fundamentally this role involves;

  • Customer service
  • Answering inbound inquiries over the phone, email and occasionally face-to-face
  • Troubleshooting
  • Providing level one technical support
  • Active Directory and Office 365

About You

We are looking for Service Desk / Help Desk Analysts with fantastic customer service skills and the following;

  • Strong customer centric approach
  • IT experience / Tech Savvy
  • Good interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with;
    • Office 365
    • Active Directory
    • Windows operating systems

    • Business Computing
    • Diploma in Information and Communications Technology
    • National Diploma in Computing Support
