The Company

This organisation provides some vital services to New Zealanders and has a diverse set of businesses that make up the services they look after. An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Application Support Analyst to join the Business Application team to support and maintain web-based developed applications for the Business groups.

The Role

This is a Fixed Term opportunity that will go until June 2020 for an Sharepoint Administrator/Developer to join this fantastic organisation. As a Sharepoint Administrator/Developer your main responsibilities will include the ongoing support, maintenance and delivery of the organisations business systems. You will be responsible for participating in implementations and maintenance of these systems, optimising performance, reporting, security and data protection. You will also be responsible for consolidation and migration, performance tuning and minor upgrades including security patches. You will also be involved in the implementation of new technologies ensuring integrity and standardisation of software across the organisation.

What You Need

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2016/Online in design and administration
  • Experience architecting and implementing business solutions in SharePoint
  • Knowledge of using SharePoint Designer for workflow development, InfoPath and Visual Studio including C# or VB.NET building various SharePoint components
  • An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Basic testing skills
  • Complete comfort with computer based information systems, standard Microsoft tools such as SQL Server and Microsoft Reporting Services, as well as an ability to quickly understand specialist applications
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ideally 5 years of experience and strong hands-on implementation, configuration maintenance and support
