job description

Reporting to the Team Leader, End User Computing - the End User Computing Engineer is one of the most critical frontline support roles within the business division.

The role will provide deep technical expertise in the End User Computing domain and acts as an escalation point for our Service Centre team.

Working closely with the Senior End User Computing Engineer and other members of the EUC team, the EUC Engineer will assist in the configuration and implementation of the organization's Windows SOE as well as supporting and management components.

This role will also provide technical input and ongoing support for all components that make up the End User Computing capability including SCCM, Group Policy, Patching, Scripting, Application Packaging, and Video Conferencing.

In this role as a EUC Engineer will build IT hardware, install operating systems and software, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and provide guidance and support to the organization's geographically diverse user base.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in ICT desktop systems, with significant experience supporting Windows-based SOE’s.
  • Experience with SCCM skills.
  • Experience supporting mobile technologies & systems/solutions (BlackBerry & Apple)
  • Experience working in a 24 x 7 operating environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex troubleshooting and problem resolution activities
