The company

Our client is one of NZ’s best known brands and a large media organisation in New Zealand. Based in Auckland CBD, they provide parking in their building and has a stable robust business with lots of investment in the digital space.

The role

You will be responsible for creating demand for our client’s advertising platforms, capturing the demand and providing strategic direction or solutions for your clients. Your clients are most likely advertising agencies. We are looking for someone with current network, excellent relationships where you are aware of their budget, projects and pipeline ahead of time. You will have a Content Manager reporting to you so it’s important that you have experience leading or managing a small team.

This role offers a very attractive base + 20% incentive + parking + phone + laptop + ipad + gym subsidy + additional kiwi saver.

The individual

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of how media/advertising agencies work having worked in one and/or has an extensive network of media agencies at your fingertips. You need to have plenty of NZ media industry and agency knowledge with a creative flair to understand client’s briefs and respond to it strategically backed with insights and research data, television & digital media product knowledge preferable.

We are looking for someone who is consultative and commercial, and ability to pick up social cues in meetings that could be used as opportunities to offer and close a deal in the future. You must be able to work collaboratively with a highly capable internal team of campaign operations, marketing, content, data & insights, and sales.
