job description

Secondary School - Te Reo Māori Teacher 2021 start

Randstad Education is the South Island's trusted Career Partner, with the objective of connecting you with the right school that fits what you are looking for.

What will we do for you?

We will work with you to understand your work history, your drivers, motivators and truly understand what you are looking for. With this information, we will connect you with schools that tick your boxes, as much as you tick theirs.

Currently, I am working with a school who is looking for Teacher who is fluent in Te Reo Māori, and has experience teaching the language across Y9 - Y13, to start a new position in 2021.

While I will discuss the role I'm working on with you, I will also be open to assisting you in finding other positions should you wish to be open to all opportunities.

How will I do that?

  • Focus on you - as mentioned, I will thoroughly understand what you are looking for, and match you to a school that will be a good fit
  • Coach you - with a comprehensive, and personalised interview we will help you represent yourself in the best way possible
  • CV advice - guide you with how to articulate your career on a document that does you justice!

  • Social Media Presence - guide you with how to make yourself visible on social media with professional spin

  • Personal Branding - I can coach you on how to separate yourself from other applicants and articulate why you’re the right Teacher for the job!

What do you need:

  • Full NZ Teachers Registration
  • Bachelor of Education
  • Experience in teaching students Te Reo Māori (across Y9 - Y13)
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • High standards - we want you to be able to push these students to their maximum potential

If you’ve read this far and are happy to have a conversation about where you are at with your career and what opportunities I can help you connect with;

Call me on 0800 800 204 (Option 3) or email me at rosie.pinckney@randstad.co.nz

At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all. We actively encourage applications from any background.
