job description

An excellent opportunity is available for primary and secondary English teachers in Brunei.

Our partner in this project is one of the top twenty charities in the UK, providing a large number of teachers annually to support Brunei in their bilingual education policy.

Applications are open for a mid-2020 or early 2021 start. For teachers concerned about job security and travel restrictions in the current global climate, this is a great option.

Working with the Brunei government, teachers employed here have no worries about visa approval or entry into the country – and start dates can be arranged according to flight availability.

This reflects the organisation’s ongoing commitment to ensuring their teachers are well looked after – this is why we love them! Some more info on the project:

The education system in Brunei is developing, and the government is working hard to establish a curriculum to fit the needs of its citizens in a competitive global economy. Teachers working in Brunei are assigned to state schools to teach English and help mentor Bruneian teachers.

Brunei is a fantastic place to live: a modern wealthy country with plentiful amenities, beautiful beaches and amazing travel opportunities. Eco tourism is blossoming in Brunei and there are plenty of national parks to explore.

Not only is this an opportunity to help shape the bilingual education of this wonderful country, but an opportunity to live in one of the most amazing parts of the world!

The package is particularly family-friendly, with spacious accommodation and excellent international schooling available for dependents.
