Randstad are looking for teachers of the Deaf who are qualified and registered to teach in New Zealand and who also have experience in teaching children of the Deaf but also who are trained in sign language.

Randstad are seeing to employ a number of Teachers in New Zealand with Deaf Education; knowledge, skills and experience and in doing so overseas teacher's would be eligible for a Overseas Relocation Grant which is granted by the Ministry of Education in NZ.

Randstad education are looking for a Teacher of the Deaf who will be full-time and Classroom based and will therefore be using sign language consistently to teach a class of Deaf children.

Randstad Education are also looking for a Teacher of the Deaf who will be full-time as a Resource Teacher and will therefore be responsible for travelling to different schools and provisions to work with children of the Deaf on a 1 to 1 and small group intervention basis which will change daily / weekly.

Teachers applying for this role must have

  • Qualifications recognised in New Zealand (approved by NZQA or on the NZQA pre-approved list if overseas)
  • Teachers Registration with the Education Council (or applied for if overseas)
  • Trained in Sign Language (must have qualifications)
  • Experience teaching children of the Deaf in the last 2 years
  • Able to arrive / start the role for Term 3 (22nd July) and or Term 4 (14th October)
