job description

Position:

The Team Leader - End User Computing role focuses on both the tactical (short-term) and strategic (long-term) elements required to support the delivery of End User Computing services, technologies, and processes impactful to productivity including on-premise and where applicable, cloud.

This key role manages all End User Computing technologies including, Microsoft Windows SOE, Microsoft Office, mobile device management, SCCM administration, Enterprise Video Conferencing and also includes functions such as device security, support, and lifecycle management.

The role will be responsible for the effective delivery and operational support of all EUC capabilities including PC provisioning, application packaging, and ongoing maintenance, software distribution, Windows patching and end to end hardware life cycle management.

Experience:

A minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in managing & delivering complex Deskside Infrastructure for a medium to large enterprise.

Technical leadership as well as hands-on capability with the OS technologies and manage a team of 8 engineers.

Advanced skills working with and supporting Window-based desktop operating systems, particularly Windows 7 and Windows 10 in a highly secure Enterprise environment.

A solid understanding of Technology trends in the End User Computing space and proven ability in developing technology roadmaps.

Significant experience developing, implementing, and supporting Windows-based SOE’s.

Experience supporting mobile technologies & systems/solutions

Extensive experience in an Incident Manager role.

Demonstrated experience developing both internal and external facing reports including incident reports.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple Workstreams.

Experience working in a 24 x 7 operating environment
