We are in an exciting phase in which we are building a team to support the Randstad New Zealand business to continue our growth and meet our ambition to be a top 3 player in the 5 key verticals in which we operate.

Auckland or Wellington based, the role of BDM is tasked with mapping the prime commercial business opportunities in the market, actively engaging with these prospective customers to meet their recruitment and HR needs. You will work with existing clients to break into divisions of their business where we do not currently operate, as well as bringing in new customers.

Randstad New Zealand has a long and rich history in New Zealand over 28 years. We position ourselves as a trusted advisor, and we have established relationships with a large number of commercial and government clients, as a supplier to the All of Government (AoG) contract. Your opportunity is to leverage off our good work and strong NPS scores and form lasting relationships out in the market, delivering on our promises.

You will join a Client Solutions team of four who support the Consulting teams across our three locations of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. We have compelling and unique selling points that separate Randstad from our competitors, which include access to a suite of HR tech products that enhance our operational delivery and thought leadership assets such as White Papers, our quarterly Work Monitor publication and our annual Employer Branding research.

Success in this role will see you:

  • Deliver on the national sales strategy through effective sales leadership
  • Win new business and grow existing accounts in your portfolio
  • Build and develop professional relationships at executive and senior level
  • Leverage your broad understanding of Recruitment services and identify best-fit solutions
  • Identify, prepare and execute successful bids and tenders
  • Represent the brand at sector / industry forums and conferences
  • Effectively follow up on all leads and share business intelligence with colleagues
  • Maintain and develop sector networks to capitalise on business opportunities
  • Lead Quarterly service reviews with our clients
  • Build a deep understanding of client agreements and translate them to operations
