job description

We are looking for a receptionist to be the brand representative of our busy and successful Wellington office. In this role you will welcome all our clients and candidates into our office, support our consultants in the recruitment process, support our internal and external events, provide administrative support to our Wellington General Manager, be part of our national administrative support team and generally keep our office running efficiently.

To succeed in this role, all you need is a bright, positive can-do attitude and a desire to be successful. Frontline customer service or administration experience will be a bonus, but not essential.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the front desk and reception area of the office
  • Assisting consultants and candidates with paperwork and other day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Event management when required and helping to organise training (both internal and external
  • Maintain all office equipment
  • Providing some basic technical assistance – new computer set-ups, dealing phone issues etc

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills a must – both written and verbal
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service
  • Computer/technology savvy – proficient in Microsoft Office and Gmail
  • Self-motivated and can work well in a sole-charge position
  • Friendly and supportive personality
  • Ability to work under pressure, is organised and able to multi-task efficiently
  • High attention to detail
