I am currently searching for a a talented Operations Analyst. This role plays a key role for the team and wider business. Required is someone who is willing to commit, has proven operational abilities, and a passion for Investments.

The successful applicant will have exposure to a team of experienced and proven Investment Specialists that have extensive experience in managing money in both the Global and Australasian markets.

What this role will involve:

The purpose of the position is to provide support to the Investment Analysts on operational functions spanning the equity, fixed interest, global equity, balanced accounts and client reporting divisions.

This is an operations role with a reporting, reconciliation and high accuracy focus but with significant room for development and to learn from all members of the Business.

In order to fit in to this role, one must be passionate about Markets, Investments, and have a real want to learn more and develop.

In order to be successful in being shortlisted for this position you must have the following attributes and/or skills:

  • A relevant University Degree.
  • Well-developed business and technical acumen.
  • A desire to work with numbers but relate to people in the Market Place will be important.
  • Highly-developed problem solving/decision making capability.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, but still maintain self-motivation and drive.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to develop positive and constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong awareness of risk, quality assurance and accuracy, disciplined and skilled in self checking and peer review for high risk activities.
  • Strong intuitive skills. Must be able to see through the numbers.
  • Excellent proof-reading and checking skills. An eye for the detail.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
