The Service Desk Analysts are the voice and face of the Information Technology Group and provide a central contact point for a range of complex incidents, problems and service requests that may require specialised knowledge and understanding for resolution.Aspects to this role include First/second level support for:Desktop and application supportPeripheral supportProblem identification and escalationEmail and internet servicesPrint and mobile device servicesNetwork, fileshare supportRemote access servicesAsset managementUser access support Technical skills and experinece sought include:Relevant experience in an IT Service Desk/Technical Service Desk environment ORRelevant qualifications and studies in information technology + experience in customer serviceRelevant tertiary qualification e.g. BSc.
