The role of the Procurement advisor is to deliver effective and efficient procurement advice and services whilst filling any administration gaps within the team, having the mentality of “ what can i do next “ is key. This is a perfect opportunity for someone coming from a contracts administration, procurement administration or purchasing background. Details of the role below: Supporting the wider procurement team in managing low value, low risk contractsRunning the contracts management systems - “ GETs “ and owning this systemDrafting procurement documentation & overseeing procurement processes within the teamSupport the promotion of the procurement policy, state sector procurement guidelines and accepted procurement good practiceTaking the administration load off of the wider procurement team You will get to learn procurement from the ground floor. You will also have an opportunity to take over some AOG engagements & processes further down the track.
