We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join a high-performing Agile delivery team delivering enterprise-grade data integration solutions. This is a hybrid role based in Auckland, offering the opportunity to contribute to innovative data platforms in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will:

• Validate data flows across Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, and Salesforce.

• Design, build, and execute both automated and manual test cases for data pipelines and APIs.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to verify data accuracy and transformation logic.

• Develop lightweight Python scripts to support data validation and integration testing.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices in a data-driven environment.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in QA testing of data pipelines and backend systems.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.

• Familiarity with API testing tools and backend data integration validation.

• Experience working in Agile teams, with a sound understanding of data workflows and testing strategies.

• Exposure to CI/CD practices and cloud-based data platforms is highly desirable.

• Experience in the banking and finance sector is a strong advantage.
