The Role

As a Senior Data Engineer you will be responsible for building and optimising data pipelines and platforms. You’ll work with SQL, Python, and modern data technologies to support remediation project in a dynamic enterprise environment.This includes:

• Developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
• Designing and optimising SQL queries and database structures
• Build scalable solutions using Python for data processing
• Collaborate on projects leveraging Databricks or Snowflake

This is an initial 4-month contract located in Auckland CBD with a high possibility of extension.

Key Requirements

• Over 7 years of demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience working on Remediation Project
• Solid experience in SQL development and optimisation
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks
• Solid experience with Microsoft Fabric and PySpark
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and ETL tools
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Previous experience in enterprise-scale environment
