Are you a proactive organizer who loves keeping a big project on track? We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Wellington team and support a major operational improvement programme. This role is about maintaining the "heartbeat" of the project—making sure meetings happen, actions are closed, and everyone stays connected.
The Role
You will provide high-level support to the Senior Leadership Team, acting as the "connective tissue" between different departments like IT, HR, and Operations. Your job is to keep the project rhythm steady so that leaders can focus on making big decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the master project tracker and ensure that all updates and risks are recorded accurately.
- Run the schedule for weekly stand-ups and monthly reviews, including handling agendas and minutes.
- Help draft internal updates and "wins" so the whole team understands the progress being made.
- Build great relationships across the office to help unblock tasks and manage dependencies between different groups.
- Own the project documents and templates to ensure everything stays consistent and professional.
About You
- You have 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or operations support.
- You can write clear updates and professional briefings without needing a lot of help.
- You are excellent at building trust and can professionally nudge senior leaders to keep things moving.
- You are comfortable with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and can handle confidential information with care.
- You value diversity and have an understanding of cultural responsiveness in the workplace.
