As a Business Data Analyst you will support the implementation of organisational strategy by improving data quality and standardising reporting processes. You will focus on developing high-quality data assets, building dashboards, and ensuring that information is accessible, reliable, and aligned with business needs. This role involves significant data cleansing and validation to prepare datasets for future migration. You will work across various platforms to consolidate information from multiple sources, using an iterative approach to build practical tools that provide clear insights for decision-makers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Profile, cleanse, and validate datasets to resolve quality issues and ensure reliability.
- Design and build automated dashboards using Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define data requirements and validate process improvements.
- Translate complex business needs into structured data models and clear reporting solutions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data capture and reporting workflows through process improvement.
- Communicate technical data concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data management, or business intelligence roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Query, and Automate .
- Strong skills in data cleaning, transformation, and validation
- Proven ability to build reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and Lists.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into data and reporting solutions
- Experience working in Agile or programme delivery environments is desirable.
