We are currently supporting a well-known Government agency in Central Wellington that requires an organised HR Administrator to join their team for a one-month temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy environment and wants to contribute to a team that keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes.
In this role, you will be the engine room of the recruitment and onboarding process. Your day-to-day will involve managing a high volume of incoming email queries, ensuring candidates and hiring managers are kept in the loop, and coordinating interview schedules. You will also take ownership of essential compliance tasks, specifically overseeing Ministry of Justice (MOJ) vetting processes and providing general administrative backup to the wider HR team.
This is a full-time, one-month contract starting as soon as possible. If you are between permanent roles or a career contractor looking for a short-term win, we are keen to hear from you.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in HR administration or high-volume recruitment coordination is highly preferred.
- Comfortable navigating the Microsoft Office Suite and internal database systems.
- Accuracy is vital, particularly when handling MOJ vetting and candidate documentation.
- A professional and friendly manner when dealing with stakeholders via email and telephone.
- We need someone who can step in and contribute from day one, with the ability to commit to the full month-long assignment.
If you are available immediately and have the skills listed above, please apply with your updated CV.
At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all. We actively encourage applications from any background.
