ABOUT THE ROLE Our client is looking for an Informatica Specialist with extensive expertise in Enterprise Cloud Data Governance (CDGC), including metadata strategy, governance frameworks, and system configuration. You will collaborate with the team to design, optimise, and scale the Informatica environment to drive enterprise data governance, quality, and metadata management.
... You will also play a key role in mentoring staff, helping to build internal capability and foster a strong culture of data excellence across the organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the hands-on configuration of Informatica Cloud Data Governance (CDGC) and Data Catalog.
- Review and remediate platform issues, specifically focusing on role design, access controls, and permissions.
- Oversee large-scale system scanning and deliver advanced technical enhancements, including enterprise-wide data glossaries.
- Contribute to the refinement of the data operating model and the implementation of the Enterprise Data Model.
- Develop and formalise scalable classification frameworks and document key governance processes.
- Manage and structure Informatica metadata, glossary terms, and quality rules to ensure strict alignment with governance standards.
- Mentor and upskill team members to build internal capability in Informatica and broader data management practices.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Enterprise Cloud Data Governance and Data Catalog.
- Proven ability in metadata management, data quality rule configuration, and platform architecture.
- Familiarity with designing data operating models and complex classification frameworks.
- Strong experience in mentoring staff and leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
