We are currently seeking an experienced Property Conveyancing Legal Secretary to provide temporary support for a leading law firm in Christchurch. This is a full time position with an immediate start, offering a great opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running.
You will be working closely with a team of senior legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support for property conveyancing files.
- Manage client and third-party communications, including with clients, real estate agents, and other law firms.
- Prepare and manage legal documents, agreements, and correspondence.
- Conduct property searches and handle Landonline transactions.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate client files.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of the conveyancing process.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a legal setting
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Familiarity with legal billing, invoicing, and experience with Actionstep is a plus
