The Platform Specialist will apply technical specialist expertise and on-going technical support to the broader Applications Support team, for both the developed solutions and solution/platform fault diagnosis.
The role requires working closely with business teams, end users and technical stakeholders, as well as engaging with external suppliers.
Key skills required for this role include :
- Proven experience in data migration using ShareGate or similar tools, specifically transitioning content from legacy platforms to SharePoint Online.
- Strong expertise in Power BI administration and Power Platform administration, including governance, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating Microsoft 365 administrative tasks
- Demonstrated experience in configuring and managing Microsoft Purview for data governance, compliance, and information protection [this skill is an advantage, but not a ‘must have’]
