Portfolio Technical Lead
Our client is looking to hire a Portfolio Technical Lead who will be responsible for the delivery of technical projects. You will ideally have a development background and have leadership experience in a project environment. This will be a 6-month Fixed-Term role and based in Wellington.

- Strategic thinker with a deep technical background and experience as a developer.
- Experience with Azure and Microsoft stack.
- Advocate for the architectural principles such as privacy and security by design, quality, security, and user-centric design.
- Ensures systems meet security and privacy standards.
- Champions CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with coding, testing, and deployment practices
- Understanding of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Skilled in tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
- Identifies blockers early and mitigates them.
- Strong communication and collaboration.
- Decisive under pressure, with a focus on long-term value.
- Ability to understand and guide architectural decisions.
- Drives iterative delivery through Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models.
- Ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Translating technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
- Quickly identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Balancing technical debt, feature development, and stakeholder demands.
- Bridging gaps between development, project, and business teams.
