Successful candidates will have...
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience leading complex programmes or large-scale initiatives in a complex organisational environment.
- Strong programme delivery, planning, governance, reporting, and assurance experience.
- Proven ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, resources, and competing priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of governance and executive-level reporting.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaborative, high-performing delivery environments.
- Sound understanding of programme and project management methodologies and practices.
- Experience delivering business change, transformation, digital, or service improvement initiatives.
Desired:
- Experience within the New Zealand health sector or public sector environment.
- Relevant programme or project management qualification (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
- Experience working within portfolio, investment, or transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of benefits management and governance practices.
