Project Manager
Our client has an exciting Project Manager opportunity within their innovation and technology team based in Palmerston North. You will be responsible for managing time-specific projects, both technology and business, from pre-project planning through to delivery. This is a permanent role offering hybrid working 3 days a week in the office and 2 days at home.
Successful applicants will have…
- Three years (minimum) experience working in projects and familiarity with SDLC, Prince2 waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Project management certification.
- Proven experience of the full lifecycle management of complex integration, migration and technology decommissioning projects within a large organisational change management impact.
- Excellent relationship management skills (internal and external).
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and project management and reporting tools.
- Brilliant time management skills and the ability to demonstrate a customer-centred approach by ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to clearly define vendor and organisation responsibilities.
- The ability to initiate investigation of alternative technical solutions.
- Attention to detail and the ability to drive tasks through to completion.
- The ability to successfully handle overlapping deadlines and multiple projects.
- ITIL Service Mgmt foundation certification is desirable.
