Project Manager - Contract Role
Our client is looking to hire a business-focussed Project manager who will be responsible for improving oversight, modernising legacy systems, and ensuring that data sharing aligns with current privacy expectations and regulatory obligations. This will be a contract role till June 2026 with a possible extension and based in Wellington.
Successful applicants will have…
- Experience in Continuous Improvement and incremental change, making cost-effective and quick improvements to business practice and process.
- Experience in manual intervention / workaround development in scenarios where long-term solutions are not feasible/available.
- Experience in managing multiple team members and concurrent deliverables, using a prioritised backlog. Ideally, experienced in Agile.
- Experience working alongside other squads with specific deliverables, and integrating as required, particularly with IT and change management.
- Experienced in running at pace to secure early resolutions to identified issues or risks
- Standard Project Management skills including procurement/contract management, planning and reporting, risk management, etc.
- Ideally, some experience in privacy/information/security or willingness to learn.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills – wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills, particularly for a Governance / Decision making audience, keeping things clean and simple (where possible).
