Sector Engagement Lead
Our client is looking to hire a Sector Engagement Lead who will be responsible for strengthening the relationships with the education sector, ensuring that schools, and sector organisations are well connected to national priorities, system changes, and support. This will be a contract role based in Wellington till September 2026.
Successful applicants will have…
- Experienced relationship manager or engagement professional.
- Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation.
- Ability to translate complex information into accessible content.
- Skilled at analysing stakeholder insights and synthesising themes.
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with Māori and apply Te Tiriti principles.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, uncertain, or changing environments.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Experienced in supporting organisations through change and helping others understand new requirements.
- Experience in the education sector, including curriculum, assessment or school leadership contexts, is an advantage.
