Senior Architect - Payments
Our financial services client is looking to hire a Senior Architect who will be responsible for driving the strategic design and technical delivery of our client’s next-generation payments platforms. As the architect, you will be shaping the future in key areas and other technology shifts. This is a permanent role and will be based in Wellington.
Successful applicants will have…
- 8+ years of experience in a technical or solution architecture role within the banking, financial services, or FinTech sectors.
- Extensive, hands-on experience architecting high-volume, highly available payment systems.
- Experience with Core Banking Transformation or modernising payments systems
- Proven expertise in modern architectural patterns including Microservices, APIs.
- Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related containerisation technologies.
- Demonstrable experience securing mission-critical applications and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- In-depth working knowledge of the New Zealand local payments environment, including clearing systems and regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
