My client is seeking a Senior Assurance Advisor to provide strategic assurance advice and insights, ensuring robust governance, risk management, and internal control systems. The role involves supporting the organisation's outcomes through expert advice, managing assurance activities, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Provide strategic assurance advice to senior leadership on risk management, compliance, and controls.
- Support the design and execution of the annual assurance plan.
- Ensure effective delivery of audits and practical recommendations.
- Build and maintain relationships with Senior Leaders, internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports for Senior Leadership and the Risk and Audit Committee.
- Identify and recommend innovative approaches to assurance that improve the organisation's operations.
Qualifications
- CA qualification (or equivalent) preferable
- Experience in Audit, Assurance or Risk, preferably in public sector
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
