About the Role
As a Senior Assurance Advisor, you'll be responsible for conducting fieldwork for internal audits and providing input on the effectiveness of our systems, controls, and processes. You'll play a key role in developing audit reports with recommendations to improve performance and efficiency across the organization. These reports are essential for advising the Chief Executive and the Audit and Risk Committee on the integrity of our data and systems.
... Key Responsibilities
- Lead interviews with key stakeholders, including tier two managers.
- Develop and maintain audit working papers to support your work.
- Lead the written content of internal audit reports, including data analysis, findings, and recommendations.
- Help develop and embed quality management and Project assurance frameworks.
- Coordinate and support external reviews, such as Independent Quality Assurance (IQA).
- Administer a follow-up system to ensure audit recommendations are actioned and report on improvements to the Chief Executive and Audit & Risk Committee.
Essential skills and experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in an internal audit role or a related field.
- Experience in programme or project audits
- Familiarity with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Audit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to write strong, evidence-based reports.
