ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is looking for experienced Automation QA Specialists to bring their expertise in Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) to a fast paced project. You'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining automated test suites, ensuring the quality and reliability of critical business applications across various domains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement robust automation test frameworks using BDD principles, primarily with Cucumber.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for complex business applications, leveraging tools like Selenium.
Conduct API testing to ensure seamless system integration.
Apply context-based and risk-based testing strategies to identify and mitigate risks in complex business applications.
Mentor and coach junior to mid-level testers, fostering growth and best practices within the team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Must have at least 5 years' experience as a Senior Testing Specialist
Must be an expert in BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) framework based on Cucumber
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Ruby, Python)
Knowledge and experience in Automation testing capability (Ruby/Cucumber, Selenium) would be highly advantageous.
API testing (SoapUI and Postman) would be a plus.
Solid experience working on complex core enterprise-wide technology platforms
Experience utilising tools such as JIRA and Confluence for test planning, execution, and defect management.
Good to have knowledge of Jenkins, Git.
