Senior Business Analyst
My client is looking to hire a technical Senior Business Analyst who can join a high performing team for a Fixed Term contract through to June 2027 on a National Transformation Programme. The role will be based in Wellington and candidates should be either a NZ Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
Successful applicants will have…
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis with demonstrable experience within fast paced technology focused environments.
- Senior level experience working with key stakeholders to discover, synthesise and analyse information from a variety of sources across the business, including tools, processes, documentation, and stakeholders.
- Strong track record in eliciting the actual needs of stakeholders and customers including investigating and clarifying expressed desires to determine underlying issues and causes.
- Hands on experience conducting requirements gathering and business process mapping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills.
- Excellent understanding of modelling techniques and methods.
- Knowledge and experience in conducting cost/benefit analysis.
- Experience using project methodologies e.g., PRINCE2 Modelling tools.
- Understanding of system development methodologies.
- Strong capability and experience in responding swiftly to emerging challenges and opportunities, in a changing and ambiguous environment.
