About The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer for their Azure data explorer service. Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and statistical tools. Automate provisioning, build/maintain pipelines. Great role to up-skill and grow your career, expanding their DevOps practice.
Responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure and build/maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop statistical tools and frameworks.
- Manage end-to-end DevOps processes, engaging with product owners.
- Oversee security (logging, SIEM integration, FinOps) and operational activities, including vendor management and pull request approvals.
Skills & Experience
- At least 3-5yrs Azure Cloud proven experience in designing and deploying secure cloud systems on Azure, covering Compute (Virtual Machines, App Service, Windows Server)
- Containerisation (AKS, Functions), DevOps (Azure DevOps, IaC - Bicep/Terraform), Identity, Networking, Security (WAF, Key Vault), and Storage.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and automate CI/CD deployment pipelines, including experience with Docker and Git.
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL Server, MongoDB), high-level knowledge of JavaScript and .Net programming, and familiarity with Cloudflare. (Experience with other cloud providers is a plus)
- Strong verbal and presentation skills to influence and inform, coupled with robust documentation abilities for various audiences.
