ABOUT THE ROLEOur client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior .NET Developer to join their locally-owned financial services company in Wellington. You will be a key part of their enterprise team, maintaining, developing, and testing software applications within a product portfolio.

As a Senior Developer, you will use your people management experience to guide, lead & mentor your team members. You will contribute to or design technical solutions, manage workloads, and ensure the quality of code meets the standards.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Senior Developer level experience
5+ years of experience in Enterprise software development with .NET stack
Proven People Leadership experience and ability to inspire others
An object-oriented design and development background
Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Exp in integration with REST APIs, distributed systems and microservices.
Experience within fast-paced Agile application development environment in particular scrum
Previous exp in the finance sector desirable
Working knowledge of event driven design patterns
This role will suit someone who is creative and able to identify problems in a product or platform and leave things better than they found them.
