ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior engineer to step into a Lead Automation Engineer role, focusing entirely on high-level technical delivery rather than people management. You will take full ownership of the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and custom cloud software solutions for a mission-critical enterprise system.
Based in Wellington, you will join a foundation team where you can truly define ways of working and collaborate across the delivery lifecycle. Supported by strong digital practices, you will manage production Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) workloads and drive automation reliability, making this the perfect next step for a technically strong engineer ready to champion cloud-based platforms.

- Proven technical expertise with strong, hands-on experience in Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud, Helm, Azure DevOps, and Terraform.
- Proficient with SQL databases and scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong communication skills to bridge technical delivery with general business requirements.
