ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Coordinator is a senior member of the delivery team, providing governance support and delivery discipline across a high-profile programme. This is not an administrative role; it requires a professional capable of operating as an active extension of the Project Manager to enable accountability and confidence in delivery.
You will independently track commitments and ensure workstreams remain on track through disciplined follow-up. Operating in a politically sensitive context, you will engage with senior leadership and ensure governance outcomes progress successfully.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently track actions, decisions, and commitments across the programme to maintain momentum.
- Proactively follow up with owners to confirm delivery timelines without management prompting.
- Manage end-to-end Steering Group logistics including agendas, papers, minutes, and action records.
- Maintain oversight of RAID logs, schedules, dependencies, and all reporting artefacts.
- Anticipate emerging issues and provide early, structured updates for timely escalation.
- Support financial health through budget tracking, forecasting, and alignment with finance teams.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Coordinator in complex, high-profile environments.
- Strong professional confidence to operate as a core member of delivery teams.
- Exceptional ability to engage with senior leadership and manage politically sensitive contexts.
- High level of organisation and a proactive approach to delivery ownership.
- Experience maintaining high-quality governance records and supporting executive-level steering groups.
- Competence in financial reporting, budget tracking, and working effectively with finance teams.
